Become an OFCM-COG Member

The Organic Food Council of Manitoba (OFCM) became a chapter of Canadian Organic Growers (COG) in 2000.  Since then OFCM-COG has worked alongside like-minded consumers, growers, organizations, educators, environmentalists, government agencies, retailers, processors and certifying agencies to encourage more production and consumption of Manitoba organic foods. Canadian Organic Growers has been educating people on the benefits of organic food for over 25 years.  When you join COG you support OFCM and vice versa.

Why Join OFCM-COG?

Your support helps OFCM-COG to run our two programs, Growing Up Organic and Manitoba Farm Mentorship, and through them to increase awareness and the supply and demand of Manitoba-grown organic foods.  By joining OFCM-COG, you help develop and promote positive environmental, health, and social change in our communities through organic and sustainable farming.

Canadian Organic Growers has been bringing farmers, gardeners and consumers together for over 30 years. Your membership fees and donations support COG work nationally in a big way.

Want to become a new member?

COG has a donations-based membership model, which means that we welcome people from all financial backgrounds to become members. Please consider supporting us at the level you can afford. COG has now 3 levels of regular membership: Roots, Shoots and Mighty Oak, as well as a corporate membership.

OFCM-COG receives 40% of all gifts and memberships from Manitobans. Please remember to select Organic Food Council of Manitoba as your local chapter! The national portion of your gift is used to support COG’s core costs.

In addition to the membership benefits below, new OFCM-COG members donating more than $10 receive a pdf copy of our Down to Earth Guide to Organics in Manitoba.  Please contact us upon submitting your membership to request your copy, or if you have any questions about membership - 204.779.8546 or contact us online.

It's easy to join Canadian Organic Growers as a member and supporter. You can register online with your credit card, send in the form with a cheque, or call the COG national office toll-free to sign up over the phone: 1-888-375-7383
